Classroomscreen is an online classroom display for teachers. On the interactive display or projector screen, the teacher places widgets such as a timer, sound level meter, group maker, scoreboard and randomizer, supplemented by ready-made screen templates. It is used in the browser and is therefore a SaaS service. It is a European alternative to the classroom features of Microsoft Whiteboard or to interactive lesson apps such as Pear Deck, for teachers who mainly need a simple lesson screen.
Classroomscreen is offered by Classroomscreen B.V. in Bunnik, the Netherlands. According to its privacy policy, the company processes personal data in the European Union and the EEA. It also uses processors such as Netlify, Google and Firebase, Cloudflare and Sentry, so data can also reach the United States, with additional technical safeguards. The policy covers data subject rights, the route to complain to the Dutch data protection authority and processor agreements with these parties. It does not mention the GDPR by name. Nothing has been published about ownership, and no foreign parent company was found.
