Klaxoon is a visual collaboration platform built around a whiteboard and interactive tools, aimed at companies. Teams use it for brainstorming, planning, execution, retrospectives and training, with ready-made methods and templates such as sprint retrospectives. It offers AI features to summarise, classify and translate ideas, and integrations with Microsoft, Google, Jira, Wrike and Confluence, among others. Klaxoon is delivered as a cloud service.
Klaxoon was founded in 2014 in Rennes, France, and has been part of the product portfolio of the US company Wrike since 2025. A US owner is a CLOUD Act signal, even where the service is operated from Europe. According to Klaxoon's help centre, the platform is operated from Europe, but depending on the offer subscribed to, user data is hosted in data centres in either Europe or the US. Organisations that require European hosting should therefore check which offer applies to their subscription. No self-hosting option or open-source release is described.
