Dinero is a Danish online accounting program aimed mainly at self-employed people. It guides users through bookkeeping, invoicing and VAT reporting, suggests how to record transactions and flags errors. Users can send invoices, store receipts and invoices in the cloud, see whether invoices are paid and connect to webshops, payment providers and booking systems, among others. Dinero also offers a payroll system and help with annual accounts and tax returns, and accountants can be given their own access. It is a web application with mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Visma Dinero ApS is based in Copenhagen and is part of the Norwegian group Visma. According to its security page, the service runs on Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, with data on servers in the Netherlands and a mirror in Ireland. The subprocessor list also names locations in Germany, Finland and Sweden, and one processor in the United States, Mailchimp, for sending emails; processors outside the EU are covered by transfer mechanisms such as the standard contractual clauses. Dinero is proprietary software.
