Exact is a Dutch software company that provides cloud-based accounting and ERP software, mainly for small and medium-sized businesses and the accountancy firms that serve them. Its range includes Exact Online for financial administration, ERP functionality, tax and annual-reporting editions, practice-management tools for accountants, and solutions for sectors such as wholesale, manufacturing, hospitality, professional services and construction. The software is consumed as a cloud service, and Exact also offers AI agents alongside it.

Exact is headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands. The US investment firm KKR has been an owner since 2019, which is why the ultimate parent country is the United States, a relevant point for CLOUD Act exposure. According to Exact's sub-processor list, Exact Online customer data is stored in the EU: with Amazon Web Services in Dublin or Frankfurt, and with Microsoft in Ireland or Frankfurt for the Premium edition.
