Formspark is a form backend for websites. A form's action attribute points to a Formspark endpoint, and the service stores each submission, screens it for spam and passes it on by email or to tools such as Slack, Google Sheets, Notion and webhooks. It is used by agencies, freelancers, developers and marketing teams that want to keep their own form markup. The product is delivered as a hosted service.
Formspark is operated by Trampoline Software SRL, a company registered in Belgium. Its Data Processing Agreement makes Formspark a processor for the personal data that visitors type into forms. Submissions are stored in Ireland and Germany, both inside the European Economic Area. Some subprocessors are based in the United States, among them Sentry for error reports, Mapbox for map tiles and OOPSpam for optional spam scoring, so the features an organisation switches on determine which transfers take place. Because the service is hosted, a European organisation relies on that contract and its subprocessor list.
