france.tv is the streaming platform of France Télévisions, the French public media group. It offers catch-up viewing of broadcast programmes, live streams of the group's channels, themed channels such as France TV Séries and France TV Docs, a film catalogue on demand and a subscription offering. It also carries content from partners such as Arte France, INA, TV5 Monde and France 24. The service is available on the web, mobile apps, smart TVs, streaming devices and, since July 2025, Amazon Prime Video.
France Télévisions is a state-owned company headquartered in Paris; the French state is its owner. It is funded by the French Treasury and by advertising revenue. There is no foreign parent company. The service is offered as a hosted service and is neither open source nor self-hostable. The sources consulted do not state where viewer data is hosted or which delivery networks are used; france.tv's privacy notice is the place to check.
