Graphite is a platform for AI code review and pull-request management. It supports stacked pull requests, its own PR page for review, AI code review with suggested fixes before merge, a stack-aware merge queue, a PR inbox and metrics for development teams. It works with GitHub through a web app, a command-line tool and a VS Code extension, and is delivered as software as a service.
Graphite is a trade name of Screenplay Studios Inc. in the US. According to press reports, Anysphere, the developer of Cursor, announced its acquisition in December 2025; that company is also American, so there is no foreign parent. The privacy policy states that the services are provided from and in the United States and are subject to US privacy law; according to its security page, the service is hosted on AWS. The GDPR and a data processing agreement are not mentioned. European teams that route source code through Graphite should allow for processing in the US and for US jurisdiction.
