GrowthBook is a warehouse-native platform for experimentation, feature flags and product analytics. Teams run A/B tests with guardrail metrics, roll out flags in a controlled way with automatic rollbacks and ramp schedules, and define metrics in SQL on their own data warehouse. It also offers an AI data analyst, more than 24 SDKs, a REST API and an MCP server. GrowthBook is available as managed GrowthBook Cloud or self-hosted with Docker, in your own cloud or on-premises.
GrowthBook, Inc. is a US company based in Anaheim, California. Its privacy notice says information is held at third-party service providers in the United States, and no EU hosting option for the cloud is mentioned. It follows an open-core model: most of the code is under the MIT licence, with some directories under a separate Enterprise licence. Self-hosting allows the application to run fully under your own control and in a European region. European organisations considering the cloud version should account for US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act.
