Confidence is an experimentation platform built by the team that runs Spotify's A/B tests. It combines feature flags, A/B tests, staged rollouts, metrics and statistical analysis. The analysis runs as SQL that users can inspect. The platform is warehouse-native: metrics are computed in the customer's own data warehouse, and on paid plans you can connect BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift or Databricks. Anyone who prefers not to run a warehouse can use a managed one (Confidence Cloud). Its flags are built on the OpenFeature standard. Confidence is delivered as SaaS.
Confidence is built and operated by Spotify AB in Stockholm, Sweden. With your own warehouse, events, assignments and exposure data stay in that warehouse; Confidence stores only aggregated metric results. For the managed warehouse, the public pages state no data location, so ask for it in writing. The software is not open source.
