The cloud product Lexware Office automates bookkeeping, reads receipts, creates invoices and e-invoices, supports payroll and annual financial statements, and includes a business bank account and a mobile app. Tax advisors can work directly in the software with their clients.

Lexware is a brand of the Haufe Group. For Lexware Office, the provider states that data is stored in German, ISO 27001-certified data centres in the Frankfurt area and that development, hosting and data protection are handled entirely in Germany. The software is proprietary and has no open-source option.
