Network access control lets you decide which devices may connect to your network. macmon also offers macmon SDP (Secure Defined Perimeter), a solution for protecting company resources, including those in the cloud. The product is meant for organisations that want to control network access, including in industrial environments, where macmon works with Hirschmann network technology.

macmon secure is based in Berlin. Since January 2022 it has been part of the US group Belden Inc., within Belden's Industrial Network Solutions business. That US parent is a CLOUD-Act signal: the company itself is in Germany, but its owner falls under US jurisdiction. The macmon website now redirects to belden.com.
