Nimbalyst is a visual workspace for working with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode. You run several agent sessions side by side, optionally isolated in git worktrees, and edit markdown, mockups, diagrams, code, data models and CSV files in the same environment. Every AI change appears as a diff you can review. The core is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, complemented by companion apps for iOS and Android.
Nimbalyst is made by Nimbalyst, Inc., which states in its privacy policy that it is based in the United States. The app is open source under the MIT licence and works with local files. The optional team collaboration feature uses a separate synchronisation service. All sub-processors it lists, including Cloudflare for hosting and data sync, are located in the United States. You connect AI providers with your own credentials, under your own agreement with them. A European organisation that keeps everything local retains its files under its own control; with team collaboration, data sits with a US provider.
