The NMMN Hosted Private Cloud is a dedicated Infrastructure-as-a-Service environment from NMMN GmbH. The customer gets a physically separated cluster built on Proxmox VE with Ceph as shared storage, and optional backups to a Proxmox Backup Server or an NMMN backup cluster. Through the Proxmox web interface you create, resize and delete virtual machines yourself. NMMN can add monitoring, firewalling, patch management, offsite backup and 24/7 support. The offer targets businesses, public authorities and freelancers and is also positioned as a route away from VMware.

NMMN is based in Hamburg, Germany; no parent company is named. According to the provider, all its data centres are located exclusively in Germany. These are rented sites at external, certified operators, in which NMMN runs its own network, server and cloud infrastructure. The private cloud page names Hamburg as the location of customer data. NMMN states that its services are GDPR compliant. Because Proxmox is open source, no extra virtualisation licence fees apply; the NMMN platform itself is not open source.
