SecureCRT is a terminal emulator and SSH client from VanDyke Software for Windows, macOS and Linux. It supports SSH2, SSH1, Telnet, serial connections and RDP (Windows only), with tabbed and grouped sessions, keyword highlighting, scripting (including Python 3) and shared credential sets. Smart-card authentication (PIV/CAC) and optional FIPS 140-2 approved ciphers are supported. File transfer is handled through the companion client SecureFX. It is commercial software that you download and install locally, and every release can be evaluated for 30 days.
VanDyke Software is a privately held company in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 1995. Because SecureCRT runs on your own workstations, sessions connect directly to your own servers. The product page describes a locally installed client rather than a hosted service. The source code is not public. The company is American and subject to US jurisdiction, but with no cloud component described in the documentation consulted, the exposure of your data is limited to what you configure yourself.
