SEPPmail is an email security gateway from SEPPmail AG in Neuenhof, Switzerland. It encrypts and signs outgoing messages automatically at the gateway, and adds secure large-file transfer, central signature management and digital certificate handling. The product is installed on the customer's own infrastructure, and the vendor also offers SEPPmail.cloud, a cloud variant that needs no on-site installation. It is aimed at companies and public bodies that handle confidential email content.

SEPPmail AG is a Swiss company and has a German subsidiary, SEPPmail Deutschland GmbH. The imprint lists no foreign parent company. SEPPmail.cloud is hosted in data centres in Germany and Switzerland, which gives customers a choice of European or Swiss data residency. Because the gateway can run on the customer's own servers, the organisation keeps direct control over message content. The vendor describes its patented GINA method for spontaneous encryption.
