smapOne is a no-code platform from smapOne AG that lets departments digitise operational processes themselves, without a separate IT project. An app is created from an AI prompt, by drag and drop or from a template. Before rollout, each app is checked centrally against company standards and data protection. Administrators manage permissions, see where data is stored and connect apps to other systems through an API; every entry can be traced by place, time and person. Mandatory fields, inspection intervals and access rights are part of the process itself. Apps are available through the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store and the Windows Store and can work offline.

According to its security page, the servers run in data centres within the EEA; the country and hosting provider are not named, so ask the vendor. The vendor states that it processes data in line with the GDPR and encrypts it in transit and at rest. Self-hosting is not mentioned.
