Socrate is a digital workplace platform for public administrations. It offers a single entry point to business applications (Hub), a knowledge base with a media library, an internal magazine, moderated communities and search across the whole platform. Its AI assistant, Syrona, answers staff questions from the organisation's own documents and authorised sources and cites them; administrators build assistants without code. Staff sign in through the organisation's identity provider (SSO, with SCIM 2.0 account provisioning). The vendor names local, regional and national administrations as its audience.

Socrate is published by Socrate SCA, a French société en commandite par actions with its registered office in Paris; its legal notice names no foreign owner. By default the platform and Syrona are installed on the customer's own servers in the customer's country. Optionally, Socrate operates them in its European cloud, hosted in France at Scaleway, with a SecNumCloud hosting option. According to the vendor, data is not passed to third parties or used to train an external model.
