Twinfield is a Dutch online bookkeeping program for accountants and bookkeeping professionals, launched in 2000 and part of Wolters Kluwer since 2011. It runs entirely in the cloud and covers bookkeeping, bank connection, VAT returns, analysis and reporting, fixed assets, current accounts and foreign currency. It integrates with many other software packages; third-party listings also mention invoicing, bank reconciliation, time tracking and project management. Wolters Kluwer also offers consultancy and training. The software is proprietary and delivered as SaaS.
Wolters Kluwer N.V. is headquartered in Alphen aan den Rijn, and Twinfield sits within its Tax & Accounting division. The owner is therefore European, with no foreign parent company. The pages reviewed do not say where Twinfield currently hosts customer data; a 2015 article named European colocation data centres and said it would not use a US provider for Europe. Check the current hosting arrangements in the data processing agreement.
