Udemy is a US company. On 17 December 2025 Udemy and Coursera, also a US company, announced a merger; according to press reports it was completed in May 2026, with Coursera as the listed parent. The business is therefore subject to US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act. Udemy does not publish the hosting regions it uses for customer data; assume data is processed in the US.
