VWO is a digital experience optimisation platform from Wingify. It covers A/B, split-URL and multivariate testing, personalisation, behaviour and journey analytics, user feedback, and feature management, including feature rollouts, feature experimentation and mobile app testing. Wingify presents VWO as a set of products sharing a customer data platform and an AI layer. VWO is delivered as a cloud service and is not open source.
In January 2026 VWO and AB Tasty, a French experimentation vendor, agreed to combine their businesses, and Wingify now presents the combined company under its own name. Everstone Capital, a Singapore-headquartered private equity firm, holds a majority stake in VWO and is leading that transaction. Wingify states that its data is stored in one of three Google Cloud data centres: the US (Northern Virginia), the EU (Belgium) and India (Mumbai). Wingify also lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS among its certifications. A European organisation should confirm which of the three regions its account uses, review the sub-processor list, and note that the ownership structure is changing.
