waave is an identity and access management (IAM) platform from Razoon AG that manages digital identities and access rights centrally and automatically. Workforce identities are kept in a Universal Directory and provisioned to target systems such as Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Joiner, mover and leaver processes can start automatically from an HR system such as SAP SuccessFactors or Workday. Access is assigned through roles (RBAC) and attributes (ABAC), shared mailboxes and service accounts can be managed, and all changes are logged for auditing.
Razoon AG is based in Winterthur, Switzerland; no parent company is named. waave is delivered as software as a service on Microsoft Azure and installed in the customer's own Azure environment, which, according to the vendor, leaves the customer in control of its IAM data. The site does not say which Azure region is used, so ask the vendor. Azure is a US cloud, so jurisdictional exposure depends on region and contract. Switzerland is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision. No open-source or separate self-hosted edition is mentioned.
