Warp is a set of products for running coding agents: Warp Terminal, a terminal built for agentic coding; Warp Agent CLI, a coding agent for any terminal; and Warp Factories, which run fleets of agents. Factories are defined as code, can use other agents or models such as Claude Code or Codex, and are reachable through an API, CLI, SDK and MCP, with Slack, Jira, GitHub and GitLab integrations. Warp is delivered as a desktop application plus a cloud service.
Warp is provided by Denver Technologies, Inc., doing business as Warp, in New York, United States. Its security page states that Warp Drive cloud data sits on Google Cloud with databases in the United States and that AI requests go to US-hosted APIs. The vendor says Factories can run in its cloud or self-hosted in the customer's VPC, and that Business and Enterprise plans are covered by a Zero Data Retention agreement. The Warp client is open source under AGPL v3. As a US provider, Warp is subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act.
