WISO is a family of German tax and bookkeeping programmes published by Buhl Data Service GmbH in Neunkirchen im Siegerland. The range covers tax returns (WISO Steuer), income-surplus accounting and cash books for self-employed people, property management, association accounts and household budgeting. Most products are installed as desktop software or downloaded, with some browser and app versions.

Buhl Data Service GmbH is registered in Germany, and its privacy policy names the company as controller. It says customer data is processed on its own servers in a data centre in Neunkirchen and that processing outside the EU happens only in exceptional cases. Some third-party web tools, such as Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile, transfer limited data such as IP addresses to US servers. No owner or parent is stated on the website.
