XiVO is an open source unified communications and IP telephony solution built on Asterisk. The suite consists of three products: XiVO UC for business telephony and messaging, XiVO CC for contact centres, and XiVO Connect for collaboration. It is aimed at organisations that want an IPBX with call-centre features, real-time supervision, call recording and integration with other systems through APIs. You can install XiVO on your own servers; alongside a free open source version, the publisher offers paid solutions and services.
XiVO is published by Avencall, a French company with its registered seat in Dardilly, France. Avencall was acquired in 2024 by Volaris Group, a division of the Canadian software group Constellation Software. The suite is released under the GPLv3 and/or LGPLv3 licences, so the source code is public and you can run the system on your own infrastructure, keeping call data under your control. The documentation describes a regular cycle of LTS releases; the latest dates from April 2026.
