XPipe is a connection hub and terminal launcher for managing remote systems from your own desktop. It presents servers, containers and virtual machines in one hierarchical overview and supports, among other things, SSH (including config files, agents, jump servers and tunnels), Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, WSL, VNC, RDP and a remote file browser. Nothing extra has to be installed on the target systems. The application is delivered as a native installation for Windows, macOS and Linux, with a webtop variant that runs as a Docker container.
XPipe is developed by XPipe UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Ludwigsburg, Germany. It follows an open-core model: the core is open source under the Apache License 2.0 and available on GitHub, while some components for paid plans are closed source. According to the project, all data is stored only on your own systems in an encrypted vault, and teams can synchronise through their own git repository. No vendor cloud is required, so your connection data stays under your own control.
