Aïkku PLANN is timetabling software for course schedules and room management, developed with IAE Paris-Sorbonne and aimed at universities, business schools and specialised training institutes. It links courses to programmes, instructors and rooms, offers list, calendar and room-occupancy views, and warns about rooms that are too small or instructors who are double-booked. Schedules can be exported to CSV and iCal, and data can be imported in bulk. It is a web application installed on your own server.
Aïkku PLANN is developed by Aïkku SAS, a French company seated in Puteaux, which says it develops the product in France and publishes the source code on GitHub. According to GitHub, the code is under the GNU General Public License v3. Because you can run the software yourself, timetable, instructor and student data stay on your own infrastructure. The makers offer support and a demo environment; no hosted offering is described on the pages consulted. Recent changes in the repository show that development continues.
