Hideez is a passwordless identity product for workforce access. It combines multi-factor authentication, single sign-on and access management with hardware keys and a mobile authenticator, and can lock and unlock workstations. The product is offered as a cloud service, in a private cloud, or self-hosted on the customer's own servers through Hideez Server.
The privacy policy names Delaware, United States, as the company's registered location, and the company is a US company subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act, for data it controls. The policy states that the cloud service runs on Microsoft Azure and complies with ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS standards, but it does not name the regions used. Self-hosting Hideez Server keeps the data environment under the organisation's own control. The cloud option depends on a US-headquartered provider and an unnamed Azure location.
