MindManager is software for mind mapping and visual project planning. Users create mind maps, flowcharts and Gantt charts and connect them to tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Jira. The product exists as a desktop application for Windows and Mac, as a web version (Essentials) and for Microsoft Teams, in editions for individuals, teams and larger organisations. Maps can be stored locally, on network drives, with third-party services or in the MindManager cloud.
MindManager is owned by Corel Corporation in Ottawa, Canada, which previously operated under the name Alludo. Corel is owned by US private-equity investors (KKR; a move to Vector Capital in 2026 has been reported), so US jurisdiction may be relevant. According to its security page, cloud storage runs on AWS in Frankfurt with Dublin as backup, and there are no data centres in the United States. The company says it is GDPR, SOC 2 and SOC 3 compliant. An offline configuration keeps all data on the local computer or network, at the cost of the cloud features.
