As part of WIIT's German operations, myLoc sits within a group that offers hybrid cloud, hosted private cloud, business continuity and the management of critical applications such as SAP.

Since 2020, myLoc has been wholly owned by WIIT S.p.A., an Italian cloud provider headquartered in Milan; before that it belonged to ProSiebenSat.1. The parent company is therefore in another EU member state, not outside the EU. WIIT states that it offers colocation in data centres across Germany. The service is not open source.
