The core covers accounting, financial management, inventory and order management; optional modules add CRM, e-commerce, HR, payroll, professional services automation, warehouse management and supply chain, among others. OneWorld supports multi-entity and multi-currency accounting, and SuiteCloud is used for customisation. The software is delivered as a cloud subscription, with no on-premises installation.

NetSuite has been a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, a US company, since November 2016. NetSuite's status page shows data centre instances in North America (including Ashburn, Phoenix, San Jose, Chicago, Montréal and Toronto), in the EU (Amsterdam and Frankfurt) and in the United Kingdom (London and Newport).
