Soverin is a paid, privacy-focused email service from Soverin B.V. in the Netherlands. You get a mailbox on your own domain name or a newly registered domain, with unlimited aliases and calendar and contact synchronisation. The service works with standards such as IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV and CardDAV, so it can be used with any app that supports them, and it also offers webmail. Soverin says it shows no advertising, does not scan email and does not track users, apart from automated spam filtering. Security features include two-factor authentication and support for DKIM, SPF, DMARC, DANE and DNSSEC.
Soverin is a Dutch company and has been part of The Sharing Group, a group with an address in Amsterdam, since 2025. According to press coverage, all servers are in the Netherlands; its privacy statement says personal data is processed only in countries within the European Union. Soverin's pages do not name an open-source licence for the service itself. For a European organisation, this means a European provider under Dutch jurisdiction.
