TrueFullstaq (formerly True): sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

True is a Dutch provider that started in 2000 as a hosting business and, since October 2024, continues together with Fullstaq as TrueFullstaq. The company delivers private, public, hybrid and sovereign cloud solutions, managed Kubernetes and managed Azure Kubernetes Service, complemented by consultancy on cloud migration, DevOps and cloud-native architecture, security audits and training. These are managed services rather than a self-service platform.

TrueFullstaq is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and is part of The Digital Neighborhood, a group of technology companies. It lists certifications including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, NEN 7510 and an ISAE 3402 Type II report. The company's public pages do not name data centre locations. A European organisation should therefore confirm, for each solution, where data is processed and who supplies the underlying infrastructure. The service offering is not open source.
