Zoom Whiteboard is a near-infinite canvas inside Zoom Workplace for brainstorming, planning, visualising and presenting. Boards persist, can be shared, including with people without a Zoom account, and are edited by several users at once. It offers sticky notes, smart connectors, diagram shapes, templates (which administrators can publish centrally), Kanban board templates, and integrations with Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, Google Drive, OneDrive and Figma. Zoom AI can generate diagrams and summarise boards on a paid licence. Boards open in a browser, in the desktop and mobile apps, in meetings and on Zoom Rooms touch displays.
Zoom Whiteboard is a product of Zoom Communications, Inc., based in San Jose, California, and so is subject to US law and the CLOUD Act. Boards are stored in Zoom's cloud; administrators can set data-centre regions, which also apply to Whiteboard content. According to Zoom, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and customer-managed keys via AWS are available. No self-hosting option is documented.
