BiG EVAL is a Swiss software company specialising in data quality. Its platform BiG EVAL NX³ started as a test-automation tool for data projects and has grown into a broader data-quality platform. It combines hard rules, AI-based anomaly detection and human expertise. With the Automation Engine, one check definition runs across many entities, with quality gates in CI/CD pipelines and hundreds of pre-built check templates. The Data Quality Radar shows quality scores mapped to the business structure. Organisations use it, among other things, to validate data pipelines, data warehouses and migrations.
BiG EVAL is based in Switzerland, with a US office in Chicago, and describes itself as engineered in Switzerland. It is not open source. The vendor offers on-premises deployment for full data sovereignty, so you decide where the data resides. Switzerland is outside the EU but a member of EFTA.
