Cabin Analytics is a web analytics service that puts privacy and low energy use first and presents itself as an alternative to Google Analytics. According to the vendor, it works without cookies or consent banners, and without IP logging, visitor IDs or fingerprinting. It offers simple dashboards, public dashboards, data export, custom events, a Google Search Console integration and weekly email reports. A dedicated section estimates the CO₂ emissions of your pages from real visitor data. Cabin is a hosted service, and the vendor states that the tracking script is 2 KB.
Cabin is operated by Nic Mulvaney LTD; its privacy policy refers complaints to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. All analytics data is stored in the AWS Ireland region. Small AWS endpoints in Stockholm, Montreal and Seoul receive tracking requests and forward them to Ireland without writing anything to disk. Cabin also uses providers such as Bunny CDN, Cloudflare, Stripe and Help Scout (United States) for other services. No open-source licence or self-hosted option is documented.
