DataMiner is an operations platform from Skyline Communications, marketed as DataMiner xOps. It combines live operational data, controls and knowledge in one view and builds a digital twin of the operation. It connects to products from a large number of vendors through connectors and offers alarm and root-cause analysis, a correlation engine, scheduler, fault management, service monitoring and an automation engine. It also supports AI agents for tasks such as cost analysis and forecasting. Skyline targets media, energy and utilities, satellite and space, service providers, smart ecosystems and defence.
Skyline Communications has its head office in Izegem, Belgium, with further offices in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. The sources consulted do not name a parent company, and DataMiner is proprietary software. The vendor's site and documentation hub do not describe the deployment options or hosting location, so a European organisation should ask whether the platform runs on its own infrastructure or in a vendor-hosted environment, and in which region data is stored. A Belgian vendor falls under EU law.
