Dolibarr is an open-source ERP and CRM suite for small, medium and large companies, freelancers, foundations and associations. Its modules cover customers, prospects and suppliers, quotes and orders, invoicing, products and stock, purchasing, banking and accounting, projects, leave and expense reports, membership management and a point of sale. Users enable only the modules they need. It offers REST and SOAP APIs, an add-on marketplace and a module builder. Dolibarr can be installed on your own server, via packages or Docker, or used through commercial SaaS providers.
The project was started in France in 2002, and its foundation is French. The software is licensed under the GNU GPL v3 or later and runs on a PHP web server with MariaDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL. Because the source code is open and can be self-hosted, an organisation can decide in which jurisdiction its data is stored and avoid dependence on a single vendor. Hosted offers come from separate providers, so the data location then depends on the provider chosen.
