ibexfusion is ipeak's central content platform: information is entered once or imported through an interface and then published to several channels. These include the ibexsmart web app for internal and external communication, the interactive ibextouch touchscreens, the ibexinfo digital info screens with scheduled playout, compact tablets, a TV app for hotel rooms and websites. The modules can be combined. It is aimed at tourist destinations, hotels, municipalities, care homes and clinics.
ipeak Infosystems GmbH is a Swiss software company, founded in 2005, with its registered seat in Zermatt and a branch in Steinhausen. No parent company is named. According to its privacy policy, all data is hosted in data centres in Germany, including backups, and ipeak acts as controller under the GDPR and the Swiss data protection act. The vendor is therefore based in Switzerland, an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision, while the hosted data sits in the EU. For a European organisation this is a favourable combination, although it remains sensible to review the processing terms.
