Kaspersky Password Manager is a consumer app for storing and managing passwords. It offers an encrypted vault for passwords, documents, photos and payment cards, a password generator, a safety checker for weak, reused or leaked passwords, auto-fill for logins and forms, an in-app authenticator for two-factor codes and passkey support. It is installed as an app on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, and data syncs between devices through the cloud via a My Kaspersky account. The Free version has the same features as Premium but a limited number of entries. According to Kaspersky, the key is derived from the master password and nobody, including Kaspersky, can view the data.
Kaspersky Lab is a Russian company with its headquarters in Moscow and a European office in Zurich. After 2017 it moved core infrastructure and customer data processing from Russia to Switzerland. Several governments, including the United States, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Australia, have restricted its software on government systems or in the market. The product is proprietary, and the sync locations are not specified on the product page.
