MatSync is cloud software for martial-arts academies, dojos and gyms. Owners use a web dashboard to manage members and families, publish a class timetable with capacity limits, record attendance and track belt, stripe and time-in-grade progression, including custom grading systems. Members and parents book classes and follow progress in iOS and Android apps, with one parent account covering several children. Membership payments run online through Stripe or can be recorded manually.
MatSync's legal pages state that the company is registered in Poland, so it falls under EU law; no parent company is named. According to the vendor, data is hosted in EU data centres and encrypted, but the hosting provider and exact location are not named. Organisations should therefore ask which provider is used and whether it is subject to non-European jurisdiction. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and the privacy policy refers to standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers outside the EEA. The service is SaaS only and not open source.
