NotePlan is an app for notes, tasks and calendar on Mac, iPhone, iPad and the web. Each day gets its own note, project notes sit beside the tasks that come from them, and Apple Calendar events and Reminders appear next to the day's list. Notes are saved as plain text files on the device and synchronised through iCloud or Supabase; teamspaces use Supabase.
The provider is NotePlan LLC. Its terms are governed by Delaware law and its mailing address is in Wyoming, United States, so the vendor is a US entity. According to the privacy policy, individual notes are not kept on NotePlan's own servers, but iCloud is an Apple service and Supabase may store data in the United States. A European organisation should therefore check which synchronisation path it uses. The terms state that NotePlan complies with the GDPR.
