PandaDoc is a document platform for creating, sending and e-signing proposals, quotes and contracts. Sales and operations teams build documents from templates, collect signatures and track document status. The service is delivered as a cloud application and is accessed through a web interface.
PandaDoc, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with its principal headquarters in San Francisco, California. It is therefore a US provider subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Customers can choose between a US and an EU regional version of the application. According to PandaDoc's data residency policy, the EU version runs on AWS servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and documents, account settings, contacts and billing data stay in the chosen region. Customer support communications are transferred to the United States in either case. PandaDoc is not open source. European organisations that choose the EU region still depend on a US company and should review the data processing agreement and support-access terms.
