Pauli's Kitchen Solution is catering and kitchen management software from Optisoft GmbH in Davos Platz, Switzerland, for restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals and large kitchens. A base module covers recipe and menu management and costing. Optional modules add supplier ordering and interfaces to supplier web shops, menu planning, production planning, labels, warehouse management, inventory, event planning and cash-register integration. A product database holds supplier, nutrition and allergen data. The customer installs the software themselves and licenses it on a yearly basis; a demo version is available for trials.
Optisoft GmbH is headquartered in Switzerland, and its site names no foreign parent company. According to the vendor, data stays on the customer's own server or PC, and Optisoft stores no customer data. This makes the product a self-hosted option: the data location is that of the organisation itself. Switzerland is not an EU member but an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision.
