Semonto is a hosted service for monitoring websites and servers. It checks site availability around the clock, monitors TLS/SSL certificates, looks for broken links and mixed content, runs Lighthouse performance tests and tracks cron jobs, server health, domains and content. It also offers status pages, PDF reports on performance and uptime, integrations with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Slack and Teams among others, and apps for Android and iOS. Nothing needs to be installed; you sign in through the web.
Semonto is run by Coding Mammoth BV, with a registered address in Antwerp, Belgium. Its sub-processor list (last updated December 2023) names hosting providers such as DigitalOcean (US and EU), Linode (US) and Netlify (US), and further services including Google Workspace, Mailchimp and Sentry in the United States. Processing outside the EU is therefore possible, so ask which components run where. The privacy policy does not name a data-centre location. Semonto is not open source, and self-hosting is not possible.
