Taiga Cloud is the GPU cloud service of Northern Data. It provides NVIDIA GPU capacity for AI workloads through bare-metal servers, managed Kubernetes and SLURM for batch computing. The offer is aimed at companies and research teams that train or run AI models and need dedicated compute. Northern Data is now part of Quake AI, the cloud and AI infrastructure business of the US group Rumble.
Northern Data AG is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, so the operating company is subject to EU law. In June 2026 Rumble acquired a majority stake, which makes a US group the majority owner and creates exposure under the US CLOUD Act. The GPU sites listed on the product page are in Sweden, Norway and Portugal, which are EU or EEA countries, and in the United Kingdom, which is outside the EU. The product page does not state a GDPR or data-processing commitment, so a European customer should confirm the processing terms and the hosting location of its own workloads before contracting.
