Vikunja is an open-source task management application that you can host yourself. Tasks are organised in projects and subprojects and can be viewed as a list, Kanban board, Gantt chart or table. Vikunja also offers reminders, repeating tasks, subtasks, labels, saved filters, priorities, assignments, relations between tasks, attachments, project sharing with users, teams or links, CalDAV integration and import from Todoist, Trello and Microsoft To-Do. You can install Vikunja yourself, for example with Docker or as a binary, or take a managed cloud service run by the Vikunja team.
The software is licensed under the AGPLv3. According to the website it is made and hosted in the EU; the imprint names Konrad Langenberg Software in Lübeck, Germany. No parent company outside the EU was found. With self-hosting you decide where your data lives. For the managed service the website names no specific country or data centre, only the EU.
