Ataccama originated in the Czech Republic as a spin-off from Adastra, still has a large development centre in Prague, and has its headquarters in Toronto, Canada. The platform is not open source. Ataccama Cloud runs on AWS and Microsoft Azure, with regions that include Frankfurt, Ireland and London, and Azure Germany West Central.
