Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud's AI platform for employees, formerly known as Agentspace. It offers a single search interface with permissions-aware access to company information, a conversational assistant, and AI agents that organisations can build themselves or pick from an agent gallery. Prebuilt connectors link sources such as Confluence, Jira, Microsoft SharePoint and ServiceNow. The service is delivered as SaaS through Google Cloud; Google folded Agentspace into Gemini Enterprise in October 2025.
Google is a US company headquartered in the United States and is therefore subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Data at rest can be pinned to the us or eu multi-region; Google itself recommends the global location for faster responses and the full feature set. Some parts, such as Grounding with Google Search, are available only in global, and certain model features are not available with eu residency. For personal data, Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum applies, with Google acting as processor. European organisations should therefore choose the location and the features they enable deliberately.
