On request, Mapp limits access to customer data to the EU and the UK. Mapp Digital Germany GmbH is based in Munich, and the copyright notice on the website names Mapp Digital UK Ltd. Mapp is not open source. A European organisation can ask in the contract which legal entity acts as processor and who the ultimate owner is.
