Statping-ng is a status page and monitoring server for websites and applications. It checks services automatically with HTTP GET requests or POST requests with JSON bodies and shows results in a dashboard with graphs and analytics. Notifications can be sent by email (SMTP) and Slack, a plugin and notifier framework allows extensions, and a Prometheus exporter exposes metrics. It supports MySQL, Postgres and SQLite, is written in Go, and is distributed as binaries for Linux, Windows, macOS and Raspberry Pi and as Docker images.
Statping-ng is a community fork that continues the original statping project, whose development stopped. It is released under the GPL-3.0 and is run by the user on their own server, so status and uptime data stays wherever you host it. The project page describes no vendor-operated cloud service and no commercial owner. Its release cadence has been irregular, so check its activity before relying on it for critical monitoring. A European organisation can run it entirely within the EU on infrastructure it controls.
